This section describes the terms used in this document.
| Terminology | Description |

| Server | A computer on a network. It sends and receives data and instructions and performs calculations by communicating with other computers. |
| Server Group | A group of servers in which multiple servers are registered. |
| User | A user of a server. |
| Administrator | A user of a server, as well as the ability to register and manage users and other administrators. |
| User Group | A group of users or administrators in which multiple users are registered. |
| Login Node | A server whose role is to allow users or administrators to log in and perform some process within the server. |
| Administrative Node | Same as login node. |
| Computational Node | A server that executes operations such as simulation based on instructions from a user or administrator or from a login node within a server. |
| Client | A PC that logs into M:Arthur via a browser and performs operations. |
| Job | An operation that is executed by a user or administrator. The execution consists of multiple programs and execution commands. |
| Organization | The largest concept that manages users and servers. The M:Arthur contract is made on an organizational basis, and administrators manage the users and servers within the organization. |
